Springhead Primary School

School finishes on Friday 19th July 2024.  The children return to school at 8.45am on Wednesday 4th September.

The RSC are performing the First Encounter performance of Romeo and Juliet at Springhead Primary at 7.00pm on  Thursday 18th April 2024.  Tickets cost £10 for an adult and £5 for under 18s. 

The performance lasts for 90 minutes, without an interval and is particularly relevant to young people and those who have not seen Shakespeare before.

The children return to school on Monday 8th January 2024.

The children have enjoyed their Christmas activities.  All children took part in Christmas concerts, the choir sang at The Victoria Hall, the nursery visited The New Vic Theatre for their Nutcracker Tale Trail and they had their Christmas jumper day and dinner on the last day of term.

We will be holding our Harvest assembly in Friday 20th October.  

We will be having a food ollection on the day.  The items will be donated to a local food bank.

Image Theatre brought a performance of Wind in the Willows to Springhead.  Some children became actors in the performance.  They all enjoyed watching the play and doing work around it.
